The Quincy Regional Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving numerous vehicle burglaries that have occurred recently in Quincy.

From Quincy Police Department 2/27/23:

Recently, our community has experienced a rash of vehicle thefts and burglaries. This past week we had 5 stolen vehicles at various locations around the city. We believe the culprits behind these thefts are juveniles that are checking for unlocked vehicle doors to get in and steal anything of value.

Since January 1, 2023, we have had a total of 30 vehicle thefts with 16 of those vehicles being recovered. Of these thefts, we were able to confirm the majority of the thefts and burglaries that occurred this year were because the vehicles were left unlocked, and the keys were left inside of the vehicle.

Please remember when you park your vehicle to lock it up and take your keys with you.
